Analog inductive sensors now with IO-Link

Turck has announced analog inductive sensors with IO-Link and true analog voltage output, said to be a key advantage since is the only one with an analog voltage output that can be set via IO-Link. The analog sensors allow users to easily teach-in a measuring range in addition to assigning out of range and temperature alerts with enhanced diagnostics, the company says.

Unlike standard inductive sensors that simply detect a target, these sensors can provide diagnostic data via IO-Link.

The sensors can be used in a variety of applications where it is necessary to detect metal such as monitoring object orientation on conveyor belts in the packaging and medical industries. Units are available in 12, 18 & 30 mm barrels with integrated M12 configuration.
