Instrument measures low-quantity gas concentrations including benzene

Products gas analysis

The Dräger X-act 7000 instrument tests benzene and other toxic substances, providing lab-quality analysis on site, the company says. The analysis system consists of Dräger MicroTubes and an opto-electronic analysis device that is said to let users precisely measure gases in the low ppb range.

To use the X-act 7000, insert the micro tubes, start measuring, then read the test results. A single micro tube can be used to perform 10 tests in a roll.

The sensitive testing system is based on colorimetric chemical sensors capable of replacing conventional laboratory analysis.
