Pilz Automation Safety Canada has launched myPNOZ, a modular safety relay. Users can create their own safety features, while Pilz assembles, tests, and delivers a safety relay batch size 1 ready to plug and play, the company says.
The modular safety relay offers many benefits, including time and cost savings. Three steps are taken to customize the modular safety relay. In step one, the user chooses the required safety functions, and the myPNOZ Creator software tool puts the optimized hardware together.

Users can check their configuration with the simulation function. If everything fits, your myPNOZ is ordered with just a few quick clicks.
In step two, each relay is tailor-made pre-assembled by Pilz in batch size 1 according to the user’s individual configuration.
In step three, the users receive their relay ready for Plug and Play, the company says, with no software required for commissioning.
