Products air-operated double-diaphragm John Brooks Company WildenJohn Brooks Company has announced the Wilden Velocity Series air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump said to feature the industry’s first detachable mounting foot. Suitable for small-dosing applications, the series provides start-up pressures as low as 1.03 bar, a bore-seal design to eliminate leaks that result from torque decay, and interchangeable footprint with previous Wilden designs (P.025, P25 and P1, P100).
Units offer dry suction lift for better priming and can be used in applications such as chemical dosing, paint and inks, surface treatment, clean-in-place (CIP) systems, additive injection, and sampling.
The series can rapidly be reorientated into a vertical or horizontal position with multiple inlet and discharge port options.
With this feature, it has been designed with skids and systems in mind to fit perfectly into restricted spaces, the company says.
