The strategic investment allows a combined Everest and Sylvan to expand their suite of products and services, continuing a mutual history that began in early 2000.

Everest Automation and Sylvan Automation Ltd. have announced that they have combined forces and will now form one unified company to better serve their mutual customer base through four offices in Ontario: Oakville, Sarnia, Sault Ste. Marie, and Sudbury.

This strategic investment allows a combined Everest and Sylvan to expand their suite of products and services, continuing a mutual history that began in early 2000 when they were given the opportunity to represent control and automated valves specialist Neles (Jamesbury). Both companies experienced notable growth over the years, they say, and have evolved into major players as complete instrumentation and control valve representatives serving their respective markets of Ontario (Sylvan), and Quebec along with Atlantic Canada (Everest).

Everest Automation has also been appointed the exclusive ABB representative for its full instrumentation portfolio, covering industrial and municipal customers across all of Ontario. This offering is added to ABB’s Process Analytical product line which Everest has represented in this area since 2018.

Everest Automation has been appointed the exclusive ABB representative for its full instrumentation portfolio, covering industrial and municipal customers across all of Ontario.

The addition of ABB Instrumentation to the company’s combined Ontario offering will enable Everest Automation to satisfy most of the instrumentation and control requirements in the region, it says.

Management and staff of both organizations are said to be thrilled about this new entity and the unification of experienced, competent individuals to create team synergy.

Sylvan’s facilities in Oakville, Sarnia, and Sault Ste. Marie each offer sales support, valve automation, local inventory, in-house and on-site services. When combined with Everest’s office in Sudbury and 5 offices in Quebec, and Atlantic Canada, this merged entity is in a unique position to locally serve their customers with a homogeneous offering and skilled technical group.

Until further notice, customers can continue to work through Sylvan Automation Ltd. or Everest Automation Inc. with the migration to Everest Automation taking place gradually to ensure a smooth transition.
