The GaugeCalHP from AMETEK STC and available from Cameron Instruments is a portable, self-contained hydraulic pressure comparator said to supply pressure up quickly and easily to 15,000 psi and vacuum to -12.5 psi.
With a simple turn of the handle, the company says, it’s easy to reach each calibration point and quickly complete calibrations.
The comparator is said to be much faster than deadweight testers and most automated pressure controllers and can be used with water, light oil, or air.
Users can combine the GaugeCalHP with the FastCalXP Calibration Software to easily complete 10-point up and down calibrations in less than 3 minutes, it adds, including printing out a calibration certificate.
The software frees users from manually recording and interpolating gauge readings, which helps reduce data errors.
