Flow control valve line adds new sizes and flow ranges

Flomatic has announced additional sizes and flow ranges to its constant flow control valve Flo-Trol Model CD900 line, all in a stainless steel body. The automatic flow control valves are designed to give constant flow over a wide pressure range.

The Flomatic valve design has no moving part; rather, a self-cleaning flexible orifice that varies in size with applied pressure so that a constant flow rate is maintained.

Flow rates are maintained to within ±15% between 15 and 125 psi.

Each valve is laser engraved with flow rate, size, and certification. In addition, each unit comes sealed, colour-coded, and labeled.

The valves are used in applications such as low yield water wells, tankless water heaters, water softeners, irrigation systems, and UV filters.

The valve line is available in seven different sizes (3/8 to 1-1/2 in.) and flow ranges from 0.25 to 30 gpm.

Additional specifications include a pressure maximum of 200 psi and maximum temperature of 82°C. The units are NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 certified and covered with a three-year warranty.
