Ball valves protect chemical process materials from UV exposure

Engineered Plast-O-Matic Red Kynar ball valves are available in all 2-way formats and 3/8 to 2 in. sizes with a wide variety of connection types including socket, NPT, BSP and metric sockets. The PVDF trunnion ball valves are designed for UV-exposed systems in a variety of applications, such as wet or dry chlorine, bromine, organic solvents, salts and chlorinated liquids.

The red pigmentation combines with PVDF properties to shield processes from UV damage and degradation, Plast-O-Matic Valves says.

Electric actuation packages are available in AC or DC from 12 to 240 V, with simple on/off control, battery powered fail safe, and 4-20 mA or 0-10 Vdc electronic control.
