Quick-test Hydrostatic Test Kits from Ralston Instruments are said to be a huge improvement over large, cumbersome chart recorders. The sturdy, wireless temperature probe(s) let users record pipeline and ambient temperature digitally from up to 100 m away, replacing the need for unwieldy cables and dried out felt tip pens, the company says, and with ±0.1%FS accuracy, the kits are 10x more accurate than traditional chart recorders.

The waterproof case includes all the test equipment and accessories required to set up and run tests according to Transport Canada, US DOT, API, ASME or international standards.

The Ralston Instruments kits permit users to view pressure and temperature data in real time, download it via wireless or USB, and create customized, graphical reports of pressure and temperature readings and DUT data.

Each kit includes one or two LC20-TA thermal probe gauges, a FieldLab digital pressure reference and data logger, and all chargers, manuals, and accessories. Kits are suitable for wellhead pre-commissioning, pressure vessel re-qualification, and general testing of meter skids, valves, pipelines, boilers, and other systems that require data collection.
