Cancoppas Ltd. of Mississauga, ON, has acquired a majority stake in Brampton, ON-based Conflow Technologies Inc. Conflow will operate as a sister company and has relocated from Brampton to Mississauga.
Jake Alaica will preside as president over both companies, while both brands will carry forward unified through higher efficiency, the company says, stemming from sharing common resources and leveraging of combined staff. The aim will be to provide more creative and better and broader solutions all with maximized responsiveness and customer support.
Since 1973 Cancoppas of Mississauga, with Cancoppas Quebec of Montreal, have been supplying customers across Canada measurement and control instrumentation products and solutions in the areas of flow, level, valve positioning, speed/position, with edge and cloud IIoT monitoring and data collection, engineered systems and turnkey solutions in order to offer customers the best suited measurement technologies for their given applications.
Since 1988, Conflow Technologies, certified and authorized by Weights and Measures Canada, has been producing custody transfer systems in the areas of milk, alcohol and various chemicals, including fertilizers and fuels.
Conflow technical staff are certified as custody transfer inspectors, employing the company’s certified flow provers, inspecting and calibrating custody transfer systems in an array of industries. With certified platforms Conflow provides both in-field, and in-house flowmeter calibration services according to primary or secondary transfer standards.
Conflow supplies an assortment of high accuracy technologies for metering of varied liquids, and gases, including cryogenic fluids.
